rice & maxdps banwave in november?

considered getting into rotation bots again but i've heard rice and maxdps got hit in november what happened are those detected by blizzard?

I'm also curious. My brother and I were banned in that wave and just kind of figured it was over for Rice, but recently saw they're still up and running.

Maxdps is back up and running, but only for Windows 10

Regarding rice, they're back to normal operations, and they also have a 2pc option for both VM and other streaming methods, so the actual client doesn't have to run on your host PC with the game itself.

Unless Blizzard plans to ban users for add-ons or for using remote programs to RDP into their computers, or for banning VMs, then no. All pixel bots use add-ons, but not all pixel bots get banned. The ones that do are related to hard detection of their client or other heuristics unrelated to add-ons, so banning based on add-ons is not really a concern unless the add-on is exploitative. It would probably result in too many false positives if they banned add-ons. They simply can't detect the client since it isn't running on the host PC alongside Battle.net and WoW itself. The most they could do is run heuristic checks to look for unnatural movements, key pressing, and reaction times that don't align with typical player data, but even that is sketchy and likely to lead to false positives. So take away from this what you see fit. I can tell you one thing: you have a much better chance of not getting banned using a two-PC method than with other methods, as it effectively removes the client from being a detection vector, which is typically how most bans occur.

I can see the future of rotation pixel bots being 2pc or being optional because this clearly is the best way.

1. DMA is not the same thing (DMA requires firmware and hardware on the host PC)
2. DMA for farm botting won't happen; you can't scale it.

What you're attempting to compare is like comparing apples to oranges. DMA is still pointless and stupid on PC because of the simple fact the DMA card is still on the host pc with the game itself, and it still has firmware that is detectable should they want to target said firmware, at this point, you might as well just have a good internal cheat and/or external. So, yes, DMA is still pointless and stupid, and my opinion on that will not change. It's unscalable, which makes it pointless with wow botting.

I was also hit by this ban wave max dps my 17 year old account was banned forever because of max dps and that after I had just paid the 3 month price for macdps all chars they didn't refund my money I wasn't responsible for the ban it's right if you always do the same rotation perfectly the same and kick as soon as the opponent starts casting then you get noticed well I made my own rotation pixel bot with random delay time between the attacks I started again and it's working well I won't make that mistake again just trust someone

I mean, almost everything eventually gets detected at some point. Maxdps had a very long run for almost a decade. If you could have created your own stuff, you should have done that from the beginning, using any tools that are made public or even private; they come with risks no matter how secure they claim to be. I don't think Maxdps should be inclined to give you money back just because they got detected and you got banned, that's not how it works, not with Maxdps, and not with any other cheat program. The fact you were silly enough to bot on a 17-year-old account you cared about shows your critical thinking abilities.

Why would your account be permanently banned? Blizzard almost never issues a permanent ban for a first offense. They only close Battle.net accounts in large-scale farming ban waves related to RMT.

If your license was permanently banned - which is highly unlikely - you can just buy a new one. Everything will still be there.
