However, as I engage in combat, I find a certain uniformity across the range of weapons. The perceived monotony in combat could stem from the lack of distinctive features and mechanics between different weapon types. Despite the variety in weapons, if they all fundamentally operate in a similar way and lack unique characteristics or tactical advantages, it can lead to a more uniform and less engaging combat experience. This uniformity might not provide the depth or excitement that players seek from a diverse arsenal, as they don't get to experience significantly different playstyles or strategies with each weapon type. The more hours I sink into Enshrouded, the more I appreciate the thoughtful design in its crafting system, particularly the on-screen display of ingredients, which simplifies my crafting process.
