Esports is stepping up once again this time with Overwatch tournament that will be coming to .
The professional esports organizations, and are teaming up for the biggest Overwatch tournament to date.
Overwatch Open tournament will start with an online qualifier that will be run by FACEIT for European and North American Teams as well as Regional and Grand Finals, which will take place at ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The finals will be streamed on and also occurring live on TBS.
The teams will be fighting for a share of a $300k prize pool. Which is pretty large for a brand new game.
The online qualifier will begin on July 23rd for European and North American on FACEIT. The online rounds will start off with a playoff round on Friday through Sunday on August 26th until the 28th. The best eight teams in each regional playoffs will have a chance in the finals. For more information visit
The finals will be starting at the end of September. North American Regional Finals will be hosted Sunday and Monday, September 25th through the 26th, after that the European Regional Finals will be played on Wednesday and Thursday, September 28th through the 29th. The winning teams from each Regional Final will move on to Grand Finals for their chance to win a $100k grand prize for first place. It will be hosted in the ELEAGUE Arena and presented live on twitch and TBS, on September 30th.
