You do know that each core dosn't run at 2.8ghz?
Over all the processors clock speed is 2.8ghz with a total of 6 cores.
The purpose of more cores is that it allows the processor to run multiple things at once. With the old architecture wich was one core it means that the processor hard to constantly switch between stuff running.
You need to learn about processors mate lol
