iSilkroad Online Returns to Europe on January 24th, 2017

Hi I copied what they wrote, I didn't know when they open ephesus. And ephesus is quiete empty because people was not happy with cap raise speed, game being unfair real life money ( the ones who says that the ones who buy 5k silks every month lol )

Anyway Imma give a shot to that I wonder your comments.



Hello, this is Silkroad Online.



Joymax is preparing 2 big issues to make better game play.

First one is server migration and second one is new server in Europe.
Server migration will be announced in detail soon.


New server, “Aeolus”, is going to be opened in Europe on January 24th, 2017.

Especially, Silkroad Online will be with JC Planet from that time(Channeling service with JC Planet).

You may feel more comfortable conditions in the new server.




Opening Time:

- 18:00 of January 24th, 2017 (Joymax Standard Time)



[Specialties in the New Server]
1. Max Level
- Max level is Lv.90 in the beginning. (China and Europe will be opened at the same time)

2. Fatigue System

★ Fatigue system in order to make better game conditions and prevent Bot.
★ Detail of Fatigue System


[New Server]

- Basic : By 5hours accumulated play time in a day (No Penalty) -> 5~8hours accumulated play time in a day (50% of Exp. Penalties in Quest & Acquisition)
-> After 8hours accumulated play time in a day (0% of EXP. No Quest & Acquisition) -> Kick out after 10 minutes

- VIP and above : By 5hours accumulated play time in a day (No Penalty) -> 5~8hours accumulated play time in a day (50% of Exp. Penalties in Quest & Acquisition)
-> After 8hours accumulated play time in a day (0% of EXP. No Quest & Acquisition) -> Kick out (X)


※ Fatigue will be counted when you log in and the accumulated play time will be reset on every 00:00.
※ Fatigue is applied to account base.(Not character base). If you play in many servers with same account, accumulated play time will be calculated into the account.
※ But when you play in original servers and new server, fatigue system will be applied by rule of server policy (Original server and new server).


[Event]
1. Collect Letter Event (New Server Only)
- Period : January 24th, 2017(After maintenance) - February 7nd, 2017 (Before maintenance) (for 2 weeks)
- Collect T, H, A, N, K and S and exchange great items.

good, but jc planet´s ephesus is better for my opinion,
because of that starter set:
1d-9d sun weapon +5
100k sp
28 days pet
50x 100% speed scrolls
11x reverse return scrolls
10x 100% ressurection scrolls
50x instant return srolls

I guess Jcplanet owns both and it's gonna have what you have said. But only but the problem with isro u cant lvl up correctly you have to grind non stop atleast last time i left it was like that. not like sro-r quest based but still.. i will give it a shot

At least, will be better play isro with less lags problems.

About the new server, its the same move as when they openned the ephesus in europe. It will be just another server with hard pay2win, but with better play time for free users. Seems that joymax really earned some average money doing this xD

Both isro and sror got the same starter set (excluding free sun+5 weapons and 100k SP but no problem).

This fatigue **** should be over with. Make a nice 90 cap people will donate if its liked. The pay2play isn't going to work in a mmo which has been around for more than 10 years now. Just make a nostalgia server with the normal prem etc stuff.

And also why they insist on 90 cap, the most liked and missed cap is 80. I would prefer 80 cap over any cap. So do most players. This is just nonsense.

I think JC Planet wants to buy the whole SRO trademark in near future ^__^
First LoS. Back in August the SRO-R Server. And now this.

This is just a money grab, animations are new which are ****** asf beyond **** for PVP, no gold system no old trading system, like ... money grab is real with this one

Idk why the **** joymax just doesnt make ONE ******* server with old settings and just add the SROR quest system, fatigue ... its like joymax is owned by ******* 10yr olds

Good developers are expensive ^__^
The old SRO-Developer-Crew got fired/left a few years ago.
Since then they are working with students and other noobs. Thats one reason
why a lot of content simply is a remake with different texture colors No, I am not trolling.


JC Planet is stupid like Joymax. They also do not care about their game. $$$ is all for both companies ^^

Nope. Its called bullshit.
Earning money for a game isn't bad. And of course a developer and publisher has the right to get money from it. There are hunderets of other developers that are able to improve a game, talk to the community etc. AND to earn money.

Joymax isn't one of them.

Why would they want to spend money to improve the game when there are only a few ppl left playing the game and those ppl will donate anyway, no matter how crappy the game is, its cause theyre addicted.
I mean, no matter what they do or how much money they invest, the number of players will never rise significantly.

Sure. Thats the case now.
But back in 2007/2008/2009 there were a lot of active players.
And they lost these players, because they did nothing.

Once they asked the players via ingame survey, if they want the old job system back.
Everyone voted yes. But they did not care. People asked for an official cap 60/cap 70 Server. Joymax did not care. Thats not how it works. And you can see the result if you look to Joymax' Servers today.

Will this new server have the old job system? That is what I wanna know. I see no reason to leave Ephesus where I have 4x 100s for a lower xp/sp rate on an iSRO based server with no job system.
Not only that though, but will jobbing even be profitable?
