Hybrid or Pure str....

Pure str or 7:1 str hybrid?

im wondering which will be better. in terms of damage and crits.

maybe put it on a glaive or something. ive seen a couple of people do it. but never respond or reply to me.

Need Sp farming, 18 lvl at 9 gap < skills, 9 lvl. Kill bandits or go taxi..

Hard discussion, depends on your playing style, are you rich? what is your mastery planning? and lot more things to decide what would be better for your build.
You lose your most dangerous ability hitting hard criticals but you gain a little more DPS (damage per second) i personally consider glaives as DPS builds due to their fast attacks so having a slight hybrid isn't that bad at all.

define playing style. well idk if this is rich but i have 80m in my storage atm. my masteries are going to be something like this. 90 heuk 90 fire 72 cold 48 light. tell me if i need to change anything. and whats the ratio equivalent to a 7:1? 75:15? 8:1 7:2?

what build do you prefer and which ratio do you prefer.

oh yeah i would also like to have someone tell me or explain the Pros and Cons of Pure str and Str hybrids. please and thank you

No, 80m is not rich at higher levels.

I'd go 90 Heuk, 90 Fire, 90 Light, 30 Cold.

The Pro's and Con's well. I don't have a glaiver, but a Archer. The whole reason of being PURE STR is having huge amounts of HP and capable of doubling hit (Critical). Yeah, being slightly hybrid you would probably hit a little harder with imbue, but in all, you won't see the big (Critical) as If you were Str. The only decent Hybrid IN MY OPINION is hybrid INT Spear.

Capable of using Mana shield without too much MP loss, big damage, and able to Nuke. Just my opinion man. FULL STR rocks.

Nope. normal skills will hit a bit harder, crits will be lower. go pure str not worth having a little more MP than HP + Crits.

30-40% I think. Just go FULL STR, and add full blues on your gear.

oh okay. i did some alching yesterday...im lvl 60 :P

so my phy balance is 104-105%
and my mag balance is 44%

A friend of mine has balance str 109% int 46% Lv90 almost full STR/INT on gears.

wow thats amazing. btw those % i jsut said are my current ones. geez. i could already imagine the DPS and Crits xD. is it possible to get near 50% mag balance on a pure str glaive?

If not 50% pretty close. Hes doesn't have full Blues as of yet, but i'll let you know

Why do you want such high magic balance anyway? Focus on your PHY to get the most out of your Glaive.

im not focusing more on int. its just i have lots of int tab drops. and i just happen to have alot of elements that goes with it. and i get no tabs for str. and i have to make do now. and i get more defense from magic

. unless someone gives me tons of str tabs to work with. il be set for 3 days of alcheming lol.
