Have you actually imported your dbo.Mobs and dbo.MobItems information? If I recall correctly, I had some issue in the past trying to save edited mob info without having imported this information first.

Remember, Castor's tool saves info for both the mobs, and the mob drops into a single .sql file. If you are lacking the info for either half of that equation, it is possible that it may not do anything at all. However, this is an assumption.

Other than that, all I can think of is if you have not set the save directory in the settings. Are other files saving?

I've not tried to use the output files from shStudio on an EP3 server, but I can not think of any reason as to why it would not work, unless there was change in encryption between EP3 and EP4, but I doubt it.

What I can tell you, for sure, is that shStudio was released LONG after EP3 had already come and gone. So, no, there is not a version of it specifically for EP3.

From the sound of it however, you may wish to ensure that all files that need to be encrypted, are indeed encrypted. Also, make sure you are not trying to mix episode files. Such as EP4 items that did not exist in EP3, all the data needed for an item may not be present.

Are you receiving any form of error when you crash? Is it just the client that crashes, or the server as a whole? If it is the server, and not the client, have you checked your error logs?

Here is mobs.csv and mobs item.csv along with sql script for all the ep 5.3 mobs just to make it simpler for some people.
Open your monster.sdata with castors shstudio then import both the csv files into it and then do your editing and itl save it when ure done as an sql script bt dnt forget to also remove the monster.eft file

fully correct, the generation of the sql (bla bla yet explained 100s of time) does work as long as the procedure is fulfilled.

at least 2 differences:
- the sdata files are encrypted with SEED mechanism in episo 4.x (they are in plain in vers 3.x)
- the products defined in cash.sdata contain 24 items in episo 4.x instead of 8 (or 10 or 12?) in episo 3.x

so yes, shStudio can crash during loading of a cash.sdata file of episo 3 (it will usually not crash) and will generate episo 4 format that will crash the client (and it will crash in 100% of cases).

cypherxxl you can send me a *vers.3 cash.sdata* file fot checking & implementation of correct support, even if I won't give any commitment on the delivery of a patched version.

1) the name is dbo.ProductList, & "idk why" it's that hard to provide the correct info.
2) you executed a script that starts with

TRUNCATE TABLE [PS_GameDefs].[dbo].[ProductList];

if you have no idea of , please don't use the tool.
