Then you`ll have great memories of leveling to 60 like it was back at 2009-2010. That is the risk players are willing to take. If not, go around this server

Comprehensive Review:

-server is decent OS experience but just not quite. you have a lot of people who are using only nos to level and dual boxing to use for their own gain. i don't agree with that one bit.

-i highly recommend that the admins get rid of the nostrums in the item mall that way people can actually work on their toons (build, tactics, plan) by doing quests and having fun with the gaming experience of shaiya itself.

-i see a lot of people just saying 'oh server is great', 'best server', 'os experience' and 'nostalgia' those maybe true to a certain extent but are mostly half-hearted. why? because you have a lot of folks who are donating quickly and trying to lvl instead of interacting with the game itself i.e. npc and mobs. pvp comes naturally as you get higher lvl or you go looking for it so that's not a concern. the concern is when you have a few uber players just running around and messing up the game play for everyone else (farming bosses for hours within a certain people which leads to gear hogging/lapis/ele)
think: once the above statement occurs, the server itself is not stable and neither is its economy. thats just how it works. and it cannot be stable when there not enough players to marginalize the difference. that's just economics 1301 assuming you went to college. also think of gold inflation and price hikes due to demand etc.

-ultimately the beauty behind OS was mostly anyone could go in the game, work hard/grind and eventually enjoy the fruits of labor from those times. its a journey, not a race. granted, donations did help a lot but due to high population and gameplay it somehow evened out.

-also, good hunch that the admins actually have regular toons in game which they use to play and lvl quick etc.

-which brings to me my next point: the admins from my understanding are using the server to generate quick cash and then disappear. it actually makes sense because you have several people here claiming that and also in other sources (names not mentioned)

-again, why do i come to this conclusion? there is 0 staff online, i have never seen anything or anyone. no events or announcements either. (either they are using regular toons to blend in or just lazy? idk, either or). food for thought, use your own common sense to make judgement.

-i understand there is frustration between other admins and drama but really just figure it out and play the server if you want but really its just a big waste of time unless they do some serious adjustments. a server is only as good as its player base and admin interaction and i am not seeing or feeling it.
this server won't last long lol. but good luck i guess!

Sadly, they took over a month and made ppl wait for the grand opening. Then that day came out... Mot of ppl joined, played fora few. Half of them left within 3h tho.
Now for those who's staying, there's not one day without a bug... Stucked somewhere, or character loading error etc...

I'm actually no big fan of hard core level server.
Why? Simple. You people like the old levelsystem in OS, like I did. But the thing is, that OS got played from thousands of people. The feeling in doing something for your toon is way bigger than on any P-Server.
P-Server are always ... smaller ... nothing to compare to OS.
But what I'm missing is the old Level Spot PvP. Where you went to DD172 or jungle and killed with your perfect party all those enemies you see. The lv 55+ PvP was awesome and made the most fun. Lv 1-55 was just cancer, where you need months till you get max.

I don't want to level solo in a p-server for 3 months till I'm lv 60 and then this Server only have 10 people who did the same. Sorry, but I don't play here.
For all the others: have fun

the economy is perfect, the server is filled with players, the pvp has already started and it is very pleasant because the levels make the difference. and on top of that the staff is very friendly. join us

And, i'm pretty sure this server is complete ass. No one knows how to make a good server now-a-days, not even Shaiya Exile and there shutting down thinking they were the greatest. Idk man, stupid unrealistic sets being released, dumb weapons, dumb lapis, dumb everything. No one wants to jump in a server and all there doing is rerolling their pvp gear and enchanting/linking for ever until they have somewhat decent stats to go pvp and get stomped by donating players. WoL was like that and I was a long lasting free to play player there, just like in almost every server that was big. I am frustrated to say - I miss Shaiya, the good Shaiya, the smart Shaiya, the balanced Shaiya, and most of all, my friends in Shaiya. Because there all gone, all of them dissipated with the servers I played on, never logging on again because of all of there time wasted. Like seriously, there's nothing reliable. Every single server you download gives you a Trojan virus anyways. If anyone knows of a server that doesn't make shit stupid difficult, but doesn't make things stupid easy, everything obtainable in game. Things can be custom and you can come out with new gear but stop raising the stats on them and make them as good as the free gear. Extra bonuses are for servers that want to shut down and get bored of everything fast. "There's nothing else to add" is a lame excuse to not carry on. I've known and basically been around Shaiya's community and servers for about 10 years. You should take my advice if you're a content creator. There's always more to create and there's always a way to keep it balanced.
