OpenNos Raids

Hi everyone,
In order to split the original thread that start to be huge i post a "new" subject here. This thread will be updated with the released .XML for TS/RAIDS

in order to get money from our work but stay OpenSource and Free to use for everyone we decided to start a new business model.
Oposite to our first plan to not give any raids xml (same system as the ts1.xml already released)
we decided that keeping it for us was not a good thing (moreover when people ask us to sell them...)

So we founded a way to stay public and get money from it!

From now one we decided that we will get money from our "ressources" for raids.

We decided to open a Ko-Fi page for OpenNos with a Goal Pot system.

When the goal will be reached we will release publicly our script For Raids Cuby/Kertos.

We will start other goal after for every other raids.

The current price for every goal is 300/Raids (not a lot when you see how much some of opennos servers get from our hardwork without any knowledge)

PS: Every "Raids issues" that will be open on our github will be fixed in priority

I'm not sure if i'm understanding this right, you're asking for 300 "coffees" which is $900? for 2 raids?

What did you smoke man? A Raid System is hard but not for 600$ for 2 raids.

But still best whishes by you target to reach 600$.

Stop making hypocrites. Until now all of you who have opened a server have also earned double that amount with a job that did not belong to you! Now that they are trying to accumulate funds, do you also refuse? I do not think they have said 300 € per person but 300 € among all donors. Do they work freely and continuously and what are they doing in front of them? Of the people who at the first fundraising request give him crazy. I see it this way. Do not you want to donate to support who has provided you with a TOTALLY FREE service with which you have paid? Well, do not do that, but at least be consistent and do not download it at the exit of the new update.

$600 for 2 raids only is still obsurd. Maybe $600 for all raids but lawl? This isn't donating, this is being forced to pay money for something. This project is no longer "free & opensource" if they are making people pay $600 for 2 *** **** raids. What happens if people don't pay? they won't release raid? then the emulator won't ever be complete unless you pay for it. This isn't free.
And I really don't see why you need money for a project that you only do in your free time. The only reason you work on this project is for other people. What purpose would you have to make this for yourself? there is none.

It seems you don't understand we are not selling the raid system (it's already commited) we are selling ressources for people who are too lazy to do it by themself.

Exactly like we could decide to sell packet.txt or a website for OpenNos

This is not a part of the emulator it's a ressource file so as we decided at the start of the project ressources are not part of the emulator.
No one force you to buy anything if you prefere to do you own raid do it(just need to write an xml like ts1.xml).

Truth is that a lot of servers here make more than 1k euros just by running our emulator without any knowledge some of them ask to buy things like pet system for more than 300euros...

This emulator will stay opensource and raid system is already released. People who don't want to make their own Raid.xml can donnate to release it. Because it takes times to make the xml and that's useless cause i don't run any server so for the question what happen if we don't receive the goal of money : simple we won't make other xml cause it's useless for us...

To resume :
-The raid system is already commited
-OpenNos is free to use and OpenSource
-We decided to sell somme ressources that are not part of the emulator

I don't know why you flame so hard. People that have the money, and want it can buy it.
And I also don't know if you ever done something for others (Free), but IF that needs much time.
AND don't tell me you wouldn't try to get some money with your hobby when it is possible.

I mean they done everything for free over 1 and half year.
Not sure, but they never came and said: "Give us money, more donations please."
Now they sell just "Add-Ins".

But really I don't care. It's not my thing. I don't wanna buy it. You aren't depepnding on the raids.
Do it yourself or ignore it o.o.

In case you use their emulator you aren't really grateful ^-^.

Not sure what to think of this so called 'business model'.

Pretty sure that goal won't be reached, but I wish you all the luck getting ze monez of ze kaiddos in this section.

Which would be like, taking packets from Gameforge Nos or Entwell or whatever where and sell it. GG

Just wondering, if one was to do this themselves, how do you do it? Because I looked at the ts1.xml and idk if you need to make one of those for every ts or not but, I seriously had no idea and you also said you need to do raids like that as well so.. it seems really complicated for most people. Or is it like packet.txt where you need to just sniff packets?
