you need to have played games in that ranked team if you want to gain that ranked. Dont think for a second that if you join one of those team you have that ranked elo.

You will get platinum badger only if you played 75% of games in the team you are in. Otherwise you will not get medal at the end of the season. Someone correct me if im wrong.
