The principals of bots do not need to change for the new system of referrals..
The bots level accounts to level 10 to redeem rewards. You can do the same for the new system of referrals (RAF 3.0) but you can only recruit 5 friends and get 5k IP and 2 skins which is crappy compared to the current version.
And no the system hasn't changed yet its still RAF 2.0
