I don't get the thing here.. You gift yourself for 3750 RP, which leaves 8 RP for the bundle.. So eventually you WILL pay the full price and nothing is free. Or atleast the 8 RP you get free is just .. 1 cent?

No, the point is that ward skin itself costs 600 rp and the icon costs 250. You're getting them for free basically since they don't take the 8 RP.

But you need all the skins before you can do that, so it's no difference if you just buy the whole bundle.

There is a difference. It costs 3750 for the skins if you gift them seperately. If you own all the champs and you bought the icon with IP, the bundle would be somewhere around ~4300 rp. You're getting a ward skin+icon for free pretty much.
