Our Journey

Developing BuffBot was a thrilling journey fueled by our passion for KalOnline and a desire to enhance the gaming experience for our community.
From conceptualizing the idea to writing the code and testing it extensively, every step was driven by the commitment to create a tool that truly makes a difference.

We encountered numerous challenges along the way, from ensuring seamless Discord integration to optimizing the buffing algorithms.
However, with perseverance and the support of our amazing community, BuffBot was born to empower players like you.

How to Use BuffBot

Getting started with BuffBot is quick and easy.
Follow these detailed steps to set up and use BuffBot effectively:

1. Create a Discord Bot:

Go to the .
Click on New Application and give your application a name (e.g., "BuffBot").
Navigate to the Bot section on the left sidebar and click Add Bot. Confirm by clicking Yes, do it!.
Under the Token section, click Copy to copy your bot's token. Keep this token secure!

2. Assign Necessary Permissions:

Still in the Developer Portal, navigate to the OAuth2 section.
Click on URL Generator in the left sidebar.
Under Scopes, select

Under Bot Permissions, select the following permissions:

, and any additional permissions BuffBot requires based on its functionality.
Copy the generated URL at the bottom. This URL will be used to invite BuffBot to your server.

3. Invite BuffBot to Your Discord Server:

Paste the copied OAuth2 URL into your browser and press Enter.
Select the Discord server you want to add BuffBot to from the dropdown menu.
Click Continue and then Authorize.
Complete any CAPTCHA prompts if prompted.

4. Configure BuffBot:

Open the BuffBot GUI application on your computer.
Enter the copied Discord bot token into the designated field.
Set your preferred delay time between buffs (e.g., 3000 milliseconds).
Assign the appropriate KalOnline window handles by clicking the respective "Set Window" buttons and selecting the KalOnline game window.
Customize your key sequences for CJB, ASC, and SHA buffs as needed.
Click the "Save Settings" button to apply your configurations.

5. Trigger Buffs via Discord:

In your Discord server, use the command

Buff

to initiate the buffing process.
BuffBot will automatically apply the configured buffs to all eligible players in your KalOnline party.
Enjoy a seamless buffing experience without the need for a dedicated party provider.

6. Manage and Monitor:

Adjust settings on-the-fly by revisiting the BuffBot GUI application and updating your configurations.

I want to assure you that this release is completely clean—no droppers, keyloggers, VM restrictions, or any harmful components. For transparency, I’ve left the executable unpacked so you can debug it yourself if you’d like.

If you’re concerned about the two false positives, it’s worth noting that Windows API calls related to controls often trigger these flags. The source code will be available soon, so you’ll be able to compile it yourself if that helps put your mind at ease.

I always keep my system clean and freshly set up before installing anything. If your software is the only thing I’ve used on a clean system and my account gets stolen, it’s obvious where the blame lies.
