The way I would go about it create an empty bot that constantly "writechats" your coordinates as you move around. Or maybe even saves a new waypoint everytime you are not moving for more than 5 secs, and then you can have the corresponding coordinates be printed out to the console.

Ive seen a bot posted here where you farm gemstones with your party but i cant find it anymore does anybody have it?

Thanks. Actually it works to prevent rupts, as on Rit if enemies rupt SoS you lose a lot of damage upfront. It can reliably prevent rupts, it only ***** up vs enemy NPC rangers, depending on their distance, they may have cast before you and still rupt you (e.g. pet attacks, bow attacks).

Time Run: 35-40 minutes in HM depending on spawns, chests, etc.

Instructions:
  • Download and extract Froggy.zip
  • Clean out bags 1, 2, 3 and 4 of any gold weapons with req >9 that you want to keep (see below for "auto-sell"); you can change the number of bags to be used on row 203 of the script (Global $UseBags = 4)
  • Log on to any char.
  • Double click on Froggy_Bot.au3

I haven't tested the selling behavior fully, so please report any issues.

Notes:
  • The bot uses a generic fight function that can accept bars from different professions; If you are using the SoS ritualist bar above, I recommend using the Fight_Rit function instead, as it will perform better.
  • The bot will recognize on which map and level you are, so if you ever get stuck, you can restart it and it will pick up where it left at (you may need to bring it back to the start of a level for it to find it way back to the waypoints.
  • The bot will pick up gold items, diamond/onyx, black dye, lockpicks, scrolls and tomes: you can edit the script to have it pick up greens, platinum, etc.
  • When "Scrolls" is ticked, the bot will attempt to use scrolls in decreasing order of XP gain granted
  • When "Stones" is ticked, the bot will attempt to use a summoning stone in the following order of priority:
  1. Legionnaire Summoning Crystal
  2. Zaischen Summoning Stone
  3. Automaton Summoning Stone
  4. Chitinous Summoning Stone
  5. Amber Summoning Stone
  6. Artic Summoning Stone
  7. Demonic Stone
  8. Gelatinous Summoning Stone
  9. Fossilized Summoning Stone
  10. Jadeite Summoning Stone
  11. Mischievous Summoning Stone
  12. Frosty Summoning Stone
  13. Ghastly Summoning Stone
  14. Celestial Summoning Stone
  15. Mystical Summoning Stone
  16. Mysterious Summoning Stone
  17. Shining Blade Summoning Stone
  18. Imperial Guard Summoning Stone
  19. Tengu Summoning Stone
  20. Merchant Summoning Stone
Open Chests - The bot will open every chest it finds; it will not buy new lockpicks

Store Golds - The bot will attempt to store Gold items before any selling occurs when that option is selected.

Auto-Sell - When ticked, the bot will:
  1. Identify all items in the inventory on the spot
  2. When fewer than 8 slots remain in the allowed bags, identify and sell after the boss is dead

Note: the bot will not auto-sell the following items (even if in the allowed bags):
  1. Gold items with req 9
  2. Froggies with req 12 or less
  3. Dies and Lockpicks
  4. ID and Salvage Kits
  5. Stackable items (materials, consumables, stones, tomes)
  6. Weapon mods you have salvaged (mainly staff and inscriptions)

The bot will salvage expensive runes and inscriptions before selling, as follows:
Superior Runes:
  • Fast Casting, Domination Magic, Channeling Magic, Communing, Earth Prayers, Death, Vigor.
  • Other: Major Vigor, Clarity, Restoration, Vitae
Insignas:
  • General: Survivor, Radiant, Blessed Insignia
  • Profession specific: Sentinel's [Warrior], Bloodstained [Necromancer], Prodigy's [Mesmer], Nightstalker's [Assassin], Shaman's [Ritualist], Windwalker [Dervish], Centurion's [Paragon]

Feedback for the bot :

- No character selection (better to have when we have some bots running in same time)
- Lost a lot of time to go to the dungeon (maybe to have a safe run?)
- When "open chest" checked, it open too far and lost drop if fighting in same time
- Sometimes, don't pickup gold items who drop in fight (seem same problem as open chest)
- Don't pickup event items
- Don't use summoning stone when checked (tested with 3)

Thank you very much for this - I updated the original post with v0.2
  • Changed the radius to 3500 ("pickuplootEX(3500)" instead of pickuplootEX()). I would caution against increasing it to 4000 as it can make you aggro more enemies than necessary. If your priority is froggy, shorter runs give higher drop rates, otherwise you can change it. Maybe play with it until you've found the sweet spot.
  • Now picks up festival items

Regarding your other points
  • Character selection adds one step - as it is now, you only need to open a game window and the bot will automatically pick the active window, so it doesn't prevent multi-account.
  • Yes, it takes 8"30 min to get to the dungeon. Running to dungeon without aggroing enemies is possible but unreliable without running skills. I personally like that it does gain points and XP outside of the dungeon because doing many times the same map worsen drops. This is also based on my own experience that using XP scrolls improves drop chances. I may implement a merchant stone after killing the boss once inventory is full but honestly after many times doing the dungeon only drops get worse.
  • It used my Zaischen stone. Are you sure you had that option checked? Also note that it will only activate it inside the dungeon at the start of each level and just before boss.

1/2 time, group is blocked near wall on lvl 1 on this part

Thank you for pointing this out to me, I will look into this and see if this method is used in some rupt bots I may have laying around, so I can better understand how to use it in the future myself... any other information on this would be appreciated!

Are you using v0.1 or v0.2?
This happens rarely but probably because of a chest you ventured too far from the next way point. You can try changing the range of the next way point to 2200 instead of 2000 on row 415:

Thanks. To optimize further you could replace shatter enchant with another copy of shatter hex because the critical area is incubi+ lots of Mesmer hexes on level 2, or even hex eater signet, which casts through daze and power drains. But shatter enchant + PoD helps clear beetles faster.

The issue with incumbi is that sometimes you will wipe no matter how strong the heroes are, when they squeeze you from behind while you're still clearing your way through, then team is dazed and migrained and snared.
In the first version, the bot would loose the path to the waypoints because of how far from the critical bottleneck the rezz shrine is but in the latest version I am making the bot restart the level to prevent the bot thinking it has reached the boss after many failures to move around the wall.

I am testing everything.

And I hope the clearinventory function will work as intended. It really helps to salvage valuable runes before selling, makes so much more money!
