Hey guys,

I recently got 20+ account's perma banned, 4 weeks ago to be exact. I activated 10 fresh keys within 2 hours and started botting right away. So 1,5 hour later my main (172 months old), and my other 10+ older alt accounts got dhuumed with it. Yeah, i know, you can flame me for that, it was absolutely reckless. I came back after a 2 year break (2017, thats when i started botting for the first time) and thought this game would be so dead as ****, who gives a ****. But they dhuumed me good.


Anyways, because i receive some bans reports via some contacts i have (not themselves but they hear it from other people got banned), I thought it might be a good idea to keep track of (some of) the bans. Just to give some overview on whats happening and how carefull we really need to be.
I got handpicked and banned. They didnt look into anybody else. The moment after i got banned i logged in with another friends account that he gave me after the ban to check JQ, Ha and all the other famous places. But nothing. Just me as far as i was aware.

I didn't get banned but would be nice if you could also tell us what you where botting when you got banned, like PvE or PvP and if PvE if it was a bot that went to outposts.

Got banned for JQ and Kamadan Buddy. But i don't believe it triggered an autoban. I believe i triggered a GM by activating 10 accounts on the same ip, same computer, random names, adresses etc. Dont be a fool like me :P

I'm playing since the start (2005) and never be banned.. Just follow some guidlines :

1 - Don't use more than 2 accounts by ip adress ( or all accounts with same ip will be ban)
2 - Don't use more than 12 hours, take a break and restart
3 - Don't sell/buy stuff you get by bots (lot of ban in Kamadan)
4 - Be carefull in Pre searing, 1 developper and his daughter playing here; The dev ban quicly if he see a bot
5 - Ban waves are always start from pvp bots : JQ / HA / RA
6 - Don't be greedy

good thing i submitted a ticket before the ban happened askin for refund, still waiting for reply thou

edit, 2 out of 3, one of them is for botting the other is for RMT, i did not do the latter lol.

I had sent mails and I had only received automatic messages.
Maybe 3 or 4 months after I make a new request
And I tell them something like: the game is all my life, if I do not recover my account I'm going to kill myself. LOL
24 of my accounts got banned, but I only wanted to recover my main.
I did not care a bit, but my main has existed since the beginning of gw
And it ****** me off having to start all over again so I used this excuse of suicide

the next day I received an email telling me that it was a mistake and that they apologize for the inconvenience.
I recovered my main account but other accounts are always banned,
I did not ask for the others account, If ever this stories can help you

im thinking about an appeal, i just dont know how long should i wait and what to say. Tell them i made a mistake etc or deny everything and blame their system. I have videos where i farm with 2 clients in presearing and i used click to move which can look like its a bot because of the movement.

for now, i asked for a refund. my main account -178 months old- which i used for most of the botting is intact, the account i got banned for RMT i didnt even play, bought it, logged in and got banned in 20 minutes for doing nothing. the other account i got banned wasnt using for botting for 3 days, i was only using it to trade.

I submitted a ticket asking for refund, on 2 GW1 and one gw2 account (all bought withing a month)

I also heard im better off wirting to gw2 support and choosing GW1 from the drop down menu i just cant find it for some reason

Edit: I bought the gw1 and gw2 this month, my gw account got permad, didnt even ask them about the ban, went straight for a refund - i bought gw1 before it went on sale, i asked them for a partial refund, they redunfed 15€ out of 40€- now they refunded the whole 40+15 for the discounted gw2 purchase. so basically i "won" 15€ - ill contact them about it after i refunded my other GW1 account.

tldr: if u got banned within a month of purchase, go straight for a refund, dont ask questions, after the refund is done, ask them to erase every info associated with you and your account, preferably thru gw2 support.

Registred a single new Factions only account last week. Created some characters and logged off.

A couple of hours later i started farming something in pve with a few other accounts.

The next day, all accounts that i was logged in for the last hours were banned. , even if it was just for a minute or two to check something. This includes the brandnew factions only account who didnt have a single gold coin or a single item in the inventory. Also some other account, that was never used for botting got smashed. Accounts that i logged on in the last weeks were save. Friends that were farming the very same stuff at the very same time did not get smashed. None of the accounts was involved into any pvp related things.

Be careful when creating accounts from fresh serial numbers. Maybe activate them on different places with different computers and let them rest a long time, before interacting with them.

Since my previous ban i use a different setup now and with succes. Last week 7 accounts got banned (1 pc) and i have 4 other pc's running that didnt got hit while running 10+ account per pc simultaneously when the ban happend.

Watch out with creating new accounts and bot on it. Play on it, do some quests, make a guild etc etc and let it rest for another 24h. I think new accounts get autoflagged untill proven otherwise by the detection system itself by doing ingame activity. This is just a theory, not a fact. If they ban, they will ban everything that is running on the same IP.

Guys, just ask for refund, dont tell em nothing, dont ask them nothing. Just ask a refund without reason. They dont even bother to check, they refunded both of my perma'd accounts without questions.

Even if they do ask, they dont have anyone to look for logs anymore, theyre just regular support guys and they know the autoflag/ban system is flawed af.

can you provide a screenshot of the email as proof?
- you can and should censor personal details of you as well as the name of the respective game master.

The thoroughly reveiwed part is bullshit. I did not RMT, bot or anything, literally just bought the game, made an account, created a char, logged, went afk within 15 secs and came back for the ban, which proves that i got auto banned and they didnt do any kind of investigation. And for this account i actually wrote a mail asking about the ban, they still refunded.

The other got banned for botting, which i did, i only asked for refund, didnt even mention the ban, few days later i got my money back for that account as well.

Now im working on getting my char names back, lol.

You guys that got banned: were you all using GWCA or maybe pure au3 macro scrtips or something else? Been using a private script engine (Requia recode for the older guys that may remember) and used it intermittend for some 6+ years on up to 4 accounts simultaneously mostly disregarding safety measures (botting 24h and more) and never had a single account banned. Even named the injected module GwHook. Never really took anet seriously to be honest.
