im starting a flyff on public, its okey to use a vps server on ovh?

drop your experience on ovh vps hosting server. and how many players can support each ram

Rule #1: Don't get a VPS, get a Dedicated.

Actual hardware details depend on players online, baseline ram of your servers and DB usage.

You can get a dedicated from hetzner for the same price as a vps from ovh. Servers that plan to stick around for a bit never buy vps's for a production server it's always dedicated.

We also all know that's an alt account so why act stupid and tell everyone your a newbie.

That is not important. Only the Actual Ram Speed.

You can run FlyFF Server on 2 gig if you want, that is just ****. So atleast get 8 Gig for Server Processing and SQL Process. Whatever you need like homepage ofc too.

But overall how much is just wayne, because you'r worldserver crash anyway if you grap over 2.1gig, and if you hit that line you have some other problems in the code that causes this.

Default you can run on a VPS how many as you want. Idk wo say "Yea you need this and this atleast", hell no. You are playing around with code from 2006, so.

Atleast, if you want to hit the 1k player mark, you need much more experience. So starting on an VPS (small) is just fine for the beginning. Keep in mind, you can alway switch later to a better one.^^

yeah that's is what in my mind. so if every i got the reach player and my vps server getting loggy thats the time to transfer a better dedicated server., for the maintime i just to stick on vps.
