[HELP] Unpacking DKLauncher.exe

can someone point me to any thread on unpacking DKLauncher.exe? I've read some thread about it using ASPack unpacker but the method was not successfully done. Or if anyone have an idea about it?

I used some unpackers for aspack but all i got is wrong version for the right packed file. I think it was unpacked using ASpackDie however when i used ASpack 2.12 unpacker, it is saying a wrong version for the packed file.

as i observed from dklauncher.exe, some csv files and dekaron.exe excutable is embeded on it as what i observed on the file size and none of those files were unpacked on the data.pak.

The packer used varies from Dekaron to Dekaron. Try to use some analyzing application and then search for a tutorial to unpack it manually. The automated unpackers usually suck...

that the people who run that dekaron, choose what they pack their files with. theres many many many different types of packers.

yea Like us at Rebellion will be packing all files with new Themida with VM code and such. Forgot wut version instant said

For example EG Dekaron is packed with RLPack 1.21 .

if packed with themida with xbundler option not to extract to disk, will it work?
i've tried the demo version and the game wont run unless the exe is extracted to disk likewise with the other files. And when this happens, some may copy them by accessing the game folder on LAN and copy them, exposing some of the important info on some files like version and the like.

it will be more secure if the game exe and files will stay on memory and encrypted for full protection. molebox can do this but some already knew how to unpack molebox. and as i said the game wont run if dekaron.exe is not extracted to disk.

it will be really good as you said if everything is encrypted and packed, not to mention game should be server side and not like this that game is almost 90% client side. that is why its hackable.

my 2 cents only.
