There are plenty of newer patch sources but they are almost all consisting of private work that has been stolen from our members so it's not permitted on epvp.

If someone who creates a newer patch server wishes to actually post their work that's one thing... taking a horrendous pile of copypaste stolen work and releasing it to our community, not so cool.

Tbh if someone is serious about running a server they should be writing their own source. There's not really any excuse for using a public source (the exception would be like... using it as reference for how features work or for how a server could be written)

If I take the time to post it here, COPS v6 - Enhanced Edition could be worth to be added in the guide I suppose.

I guess a feature matrix would be good for beginners to help them choosing. Like a rating for stability, a list of features, client version, etc. Similar to how wikipedia does it. For instance : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_game_engines

Not much has changed since I last updated this thread. The interest of the community is still diminishing with the depreciation of the game as it rapidly folds itself into its own ******* of "free-to-play features". The programmers remaining here whom can actually call themselves programmers are wiser than they were before, finding new projects or profiting where they still can from this section. Not too much to say besides "I haven't had to make an update for this thread in 2 years." Here it is, regardless. Probably the last update if I'd know better. Added 3 new sources... whoopy. Enjoy.

There are several links leading to dead download links, might wanna update that now & then, for example the XSCO 2.0+ [C++] source.

If links become dead in the future you can just refer them to my 41 sources in 1 download thread, just a tip to solve things fast and easy if ever needed.

I don't mean to sound rude, but why would someone want to download all the sources we have to offer at once? I mean, I suppose someone could if they really wanted to, but yikes. Regardless, I'll put a link at the top of my thread for downloading them all... but I don't exactly understand the motivation behind doing so.

Well for several reasons,
for example people know that links on forums go dead in a few months/years, this way they can store all the sources on their own computer or hard drive with just 1 download in case they ever need it.

Can also be usefull for people who are trying to learn c# or wanna see how other people code stuff in a different way, with just 1 download they have all the sources out there, organised & ready for studying.

Or maybe someone re-installed their computer and lost all their sources they had, this way they can get em back in 1 download with several extra sources they maybe didnt had before but are intresting for them + its all organised already.

I can give you more examples but my point is clear i guess, people download from my thread so there is a need for this, whatever the reason may be.

And yes you could have put a all-in-one download link in your thread that is true, everyone else could.
People can even put a link in there signature if they want to, but i decided to make a thread.

Please create a thread and specify what you need help with and with what source... Not many people are going to make an effort to reply to you if you start with a useless comment like that. Don't just say "I need help", give us details. Give us errors you're hitting, screenshots of the client, etc.

Fyi to everyone else, I'm going to depreciate this thread when I have time and trim it down to only the sources we support these days.
