Some of these for myself were:
- You have to pay in order to have a banner of your private server displayed
- Poor user interface on websites.
- Accidental traffic is sent to your site due to their hyperlink layout for banners.
- No comment systems for people to use for server
- IN and OUT are unclear terms that confuse a lot of users
- Annoying adds all over
- No postback function
I decided to create my own ranking website that addresses these issues. Thus extremeprivateservers was born!
Features extremeprivateservers has are as follows:
- ALL members, regular or premium will have free banners. Premium members will have an option for larger banners though.
- I went for a darker interface that I believe gamers will find more appealing to standard white layouts used by others. Also I made site navigation straight forward.
- I set banner links to details pages on extremeprivate servers. This allows for a more accurate traffic count.
- Every server that is listed will have its own comment system. They will also have social media buttons.
- IN & OUT terms changed to boost server & View Server to better allow people to understand what they are for.
- extremeprivateservers will not have adds other than members private server listings. The site will be run off of premium memberships. This will give a better user experience.
- Members will be able to use a special voting link. When a user votes for that server, extremeprivateservers will send the username/userid and send it to your server as a post. You may use this to credit the user with in game credits! To read more about this feature please visit
