Good day to you all -

So I have come back to the Conquer community working on a project that I wasn't sure I was gonna go public with or not. Spoke with my colleague, and we've decided to publicly document our progress. To start off, the server will be on 5517 client due to its performance versus older clients. We have built upon Bauss' source, CandyConquer. So we are utiliziing MSSQL to handle the database. But there are some things that have been modified/removed.

Some things that have been removed/won't be supported:
Any classes after the basic 4(Tro, War, Tao, Arch)
New VIP system(Don't worry, we will have our own)
Item Lock
Merchant System
Talismans beside your old ones(gourd, bottle, cups)
Battle power
Sub-Classes

Some more things but I can't think of at the moment.

Some features we are not quite sure to add, but would like community feedback:
Clans
Mounts
Flowers
Memory Agate
Sashes
Refinery
Bound CPs

Features we have added to completion:
Contribution system
Mining
Mentor/apprentice
Vending
Friends/Enemies
Guild War
Luckytime
Heaven's Blessing, including all it's benefits(Contributions, double exp,offline TG.)
Transform skills
Training grounds

There's a few more I know that I can't think of at the moment.

We aren't necessarily at a classic themed server, but to rid of the features that TQ added we weren't fans of. The server is almost ready for alpha testing, but not quite there yet. We would love to hear feedback on what you would like to see, as well as keep you updated on the current development of this server.

As we see, we have modified the gui to match more along the lines of a 5065 equipment screen.

Please don't hesitate on giving feedback, as we all know constructive criticism is key to success.

Refinery and DragonSouls (maybe the worst ideas to a classic style, but Critical Strike doesn't look so bad)

Are systems that I think that are worth being implemented. At least the three first ones.

Mounts are likely to be added, though they will be modified to some extent on leniency of their abilities. Clans as well, possibly for some sort of event.

Flowers and Refinery we have not really discussed yet, though I can almost guarantee refinery won't be included. Dragon Soul equipment may be obtainable in some other way.

My 2 cents on your "not so sure list":

Clans
Basically a smaller guild... Don't really see the value of adding it unless you plan on using it for events.

Mounts
Meh... I personally would only use it to get from A to B faster... I don't really see the extra value.

Flowers
A nice to have as an extra

Memory Agate
If you want more enjoyable PvP I would keep it out because it will just allow people to instantly teleport from A to B. This item allows you to use it for like 30 times if I am right and only uses 1 spot in inventory.

Sashes
Yep... Very helpful when hunting.

Refinery
Nope... Will just cause unbalanced damages.

Bound CPs
Depends on if you implement Bound items.

Hello elitepvpers. Well after working with redux, and realizing how garbage it is, I've decided to just go ahead and make my own source from scratch. This will be a 4267 1.0 server. This thread will stay updated until the source is finished and the server is public. The database will be managed through MsSQL via stored procedures. There will be some aspects of the database that will be handled through ini files. This server will be kept as close to classic as I possibly can make it. No...
