That is raging though.
From a detection/coding point of view I have no experience to be able to say anything about which is more detectable so if you say silent is more detectable than lock on then okay.
Buuuut when it comes to reports, and being spectated, silent is 1000x times easier to closet with than lock on ever will be. Low FOV silent aim is practically impossible to even tell and I don't get called out ever. Also with the way kill cams work in WZ it can appear as if someone is using soft aim even when they are not.
Like I said from a coding/detection standpoint I have no idea, but from a spectator standpoint...silent is way better than lock on for closet'ing.
