Good news! I've updated a few things. I'm still working on some weird issues with another feature I'm adding, but the bot will now send a message in the channel where the command was initially run, notifying you of the current status. After that, it will continue to monitor the account every 15 minutes. However, instead of sending a message every time it checks, it will now only send a new message when a change in the status has occurred, along with the details of what it changed from and to. This change will prevent the channel from being flooded with messages.

I've discovered a pretty significant flaw in the way this bot is set up. I've gone over the code several times now, so it's taking longer than expected to add the new features I have in mind. With this discovery, I'll likely have to rewrite how the bot recalls the accounts you add. It's still fine to use, but a server can't have more than 25 accounts registered at a time for now. Although I feel I'm just wasting time on this thing, as simple as it is, it is time-consuming.

Well, when I was using IW, I'm fairly certain I was the reason Kolo actually increased the profile limit from 15 to 20 because I did a lot of testing to see what would cause shadowbans and what wouldn't, also tried several theories on what actually worked to prevent them as well. So, I had a lot of accounts in rotation for all that. Awsoming also did a few experiments around the same time, and we both came up with pretty much the similar thoughts.

Nice to know someone is using it. It gives me that drive to actually continue to work past the headache of trial and error. I'm still learning to code and whatnot, so I find myself lost on a lot of dumb things. So thank you, knowing someone else is at least using it, I'll continue to work on it.

Head over to the channel where you want the status posted, and use the /addaccount command. But before that, you might need to run the /removeaccount command in the other channel.

I'm hoping to finish the next update in the next few days. It won't have to be in a channel; instead, it'll send a DM or post in the channel, whichever you prefer. I've already fixed the issue of flooding the channel by slowing it down. Now, I'm working on how the bot handles commands after finding a flaw in its current setup.

I removed the Account with /removeaccount in the false channel, after that i used /addaccount in the right channel. But the Bot only added the account and he is not checking it now.

It may be because I recently updated how it handles checking the account. Currently, it checks an account every 15 minutes and compares the status from the last check with the new status. If it's different, it sends a message telling you that the status has changed. However, it could be that the status hasn't technically changed.

I'm currently working on recoding the bot to hopefully handle these things a little better in the future

I'm almost done ironing out the last few bugs for the next update, so new features should be coming soon for those still using the bot.

This update involved a complete overhaul of each command and the entire bot itself. Why? Well, to be honest, I messed up. 😂 I made too many changes at once and ended up chasing my own tail trying to solve the problems until I finally just scrapped it all and started over.

I'm sure the code is still pretty redundant in many parts, but it's working, and I'm slowly testing for edge cases now.

Some of the new things I changed or added this time include a 24-hour update feature. It lets you know the current status of the account and assures you that the bot is still working and hasn't forgotten about you or your account. I felt this was necessary after stopping the bot from spamming the channels every 15 minutes with the same status. Now, it will only send a message when you initially add the account and do the first status check. After that, it will recheck every 15 minutes and log the changes for later. When a change occurs, it will message the channel the account was added from and tag you in it, informing you of the new status.

The "remove account" command got a major rework as it wasn't fully removing an account from the database, leaving fragments behind and making it difficult to re-add an account with the same name or similar bits. It should now fully remove all traces of the account once removed, so be sure you really want to remove the account before you do, as the logs for the account will also be lost for good.

I also reworked the "update account" command I added a few updates ago to work better with the database, as it was for some reason creating double entries in the database. But that's been resolved now, and it's fully working. When you update the account with a new ssocookie, it will also verify that cookie just like it does when adding an account initially.

As for the newest command, it was more of a pain than it should have been, but it opens up the possibility of more features later on now that it's working. It's a command to get and calculate the age for the account. Once an account is added, you have the option to run this new command, and it will do the math and other wizardry stuff, telling you how many years, months, and days old your account is at that moment.

The other part I've been working on is error handling, well, learning more about it really. I got carried away and had error handles for my error handles, with an extra handle just because. 😂

Here in the next few hours, the bot will go offline for a short period while I create a backup and then update it to the new version. I'll be creating a backup of the state it was in before updating, just in case something doesn't go as planned and I need to revert it back. However, once it's stable, that backup will be deleted.

The same should still work. Hopefully, if everything updates correctly, users who already have the bot added shouldn't have to do anything and will notice the new commands automatically. If not, just remove the bot and re-add it. If that still doesn't work, please let me know so I can solve the issue.

The bot should be back up shortly. I was working on some changes to help restart it every so often, and I misspelled a part of the startup code. This was done a few days ago and just now showed itself.

I apologize for that, but on the other hand, I'm open to other ideas or suggestions. I realized I hadn't shared the GitHub link recently after I was asked about setting it up. I'm probably going to make a new thread for it to avoid any confusion, as I found out it's not a very noticeable link to my version versus the original poster's version.

In addition, I've been working on small improvements here and there and will soon release that version.

The host I'm using is undergoing some maintenance, so the bot should be up and running again shortly. I'm also nearly done reworking the bot to be more efficient and upgrading it to allow for easily expanding more commands and options, so it won't be long.

I've completed a reworking of the bot's code, making it easier to add commands and features. I'm currently working on adding a few things, so I'll be pushing out a new update for the bot soon. Since this has turned into a good project, I'll be starting my own thread. The bot barely shares any code with the original poster's bot now; only the basic coding that's common with any bot remains. So, just a heads-up for those who are using it.
