DOWNLOAD Vmware 6.5.1
1. Register there:
(use fake details - e-mail should be a vaild e-mail to complete registration)

2. Download vmvare 6.5.1 here:
if the link broken try this
(at the bottom search for "Manually Download" button)

3. Use serial key

IFCONFIG not working for me in CentOS :'(

1, Make sure, you are logged in as root
2, If it is still not working try to use this command: /sbin/ifconfig

So, can I play this with my friends? And please, can you make a tutorial how to add channels? And a tutorial in how to update my private server from epi.2 to 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and etc. Please. Thanks

How to add channels: When u istall the cabalserver coose the other template wich contain more than 1 cannel.
Yes you can play with your friend with hamachi connantc.(It works for me)
Upgrade? If u have other episode server files go and install them
Note: offical cabal didn't realse server files. These files coded by a great programers or idk!

got problem 'bout ifconfig command on centOS. inet addr won't show up. Only inet6 addr shows up.

Should I use VMWare 6.5.1? 'coz I'm using 7.0.0. That's why I have proble about ifconfig command that inet addr won't show up? Thanks. I'm stuck in video tut #5.

Yes. Should everything 100% the same in the video. Thats why I put a download link for 6.5.1.
I had 7.0. version too and it has "Easy Install" method wich dont allow you to use custom install settings...

Yeah, you're right. Currently installing centOS. Hoped that I can now determine my inet addr.


About the episode 2 patch. Who released this patch? Do you thin he hacked the files of estsoft? And maybe other PServers got a free patch? or the bought it?

grrrr. What' wrong?? I follow the vid tut#5. But what happend? Still, this images remains the same what happend to me last 2 days.

Yes, maybe that's the problem, but first try this: :S

Yup, I logged in as root (username).
How about the password? Password should be my own password or not?



EDIT 1:
I got rid with that unidentified network. I searched it in google, but after that, still the same problem.


EDIT 2:
Mr. DarkStealMan of youtube told me that I'm using standard ipv6, I must use ipv4.

Can someone tell me if I'm doing it right? Because I can't still determine the IP address (ipv4) on centOS:

Hmm that's interesting...

Can you find your IPV4 address in "start --> Run... --> CMD ---> ipconfig"
If not, i found a forum about "I cat see m IPV4 address, i need for my minecraft server" wich says:

start --> Type CMD --> Right click run as administrator --->

Can you find your IPV4 address in "start --> Run... --> CMD ---> ipconfig"
If not, i found a forum about "I cat see m IPV4 address, i need for my minecraft server" wich says:

start --> Type CMD --> Right click run as administrator --->

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

This is works for him.. maybe it helps you!

Yup I can find it in cmd but, in centOS, no!

Maybe this is my MAJOR PROBLEM!!!

Found a Solution for this Problem:

Bringing up interface eth0: Device eth0 has different MAC address than expected, ignoring.

The reason for this is that

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

contains a variable called “HWADDR=”. Do the following to add the appropriate MAC address and restore networking functionality.

As the root user (or a user with appropriate permissions)
Type “ifconfig -a”
From the displayed information, find eth0 (this is the default first Ethernet adapter)
Locate the number next to the HWaddr. This is your MAC address

A typical output would be as follows.

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1B:21:1F:66:88
inet addr:192.168.0.5 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
... the additional output has been removed...

Now you edit

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

and modify the “HWADDR=” variable to include your MAC address. E.g.

HWADDR=00:1B:21:1F:66:88

Save the file. At this point you run

# service network restart

as root from the command prompt. You’ve now restored networking.
