2042 Steam Bans

If I purchased 2042 via Steam and get banned, would I get a "Game Ban" on my steam profile? Or would that not happen because 2042 launches through Origin.

There is zero risk to your steam, since game is not protected by VAC anticheat. It only effects if it's protected by vac. I've been banned by fairfight in battlefield game via steam version

Well you can Still get game banned but I honestly never seen anyone got banned on BF 2042 so Idk if it shows on your profile or nah.

And no it does not come on your stream profile unlike pubg for example.

He was talking about "Game Bans" you see like from PUBG. And as far as I know there wont be any "Game Ban" visible on your profile.
