That hasn't been my experience at all and I haven't seen people in the Discord complaining about bans.
Not sure if you're even talking about in game bans or people being banned from the Discord itself (which seems to have gotten nuked)
Also in all my interactions the main dev, Henk, he has been a super nice guy. I also haven't seen him rage out on anybody either.
