Detected cheat what happens?

If a cheat got detected, then it bans like backwards? I mean, if i dont use the cheat ever again after the detection, i will got a ban cuz i used in the past? Or detected means only you cant use the cheat again?

If a cheat gets detected only those who use it after the detection get banned.

You never know for sure if a cheat is detected or not, though. EAC usually waits a few days after they detected a cheat to gather enough information so they can ban all of the users at once.

thats actually not true

most anticheats wait long to ban you yes
but the reason is that they want to make it hard for devs
to test if the cheat is dtc or not if you only get banned after 2 months

if you cheat got a lot of users the delay ban time is shorter

If a cheat gets detected everyone who used it in the past will get banned. (well, if u used it like months before u might save ur ***, atleast that's what happened to me sometimes)
