I just have laggy internet, connecting my laptop from Wi-Fi.

When it lagged again - looks like it not received any ID information about player, and I even seen old good Dverg 3d model, not a trash one:

Looks like you can play with packets sending while undocking or going to matchmaking, to even replace yourself or use someone's active or even inactive session to use their name/ships/accounts instead of yours
