Treyarch’s director of technology Cesar Stastny made the announcement via Twitter earlier today:
Earlier, Steam pre-order bonuses were also confirmed Stastny, though no further details were given.

Last year’s Modern Warfare 3 on the PC boasted dedicated servers as well, but only for unranked matches. The original Black Ops, however, featured dedicated servers for both ranked and unranked matches, though players were stuck paying out of their own pocket in order to rent and host one. It is not known if Treyarch will, once again, rent out servers through GameServers.com, as they did with the original Black Ops. Expect further details through an official announcement.Quote:
