if i had an xbox pcap file i could do this faster while at work. going home on lunch to test was a fail and i have 5 hours left at work......
WinPcap is the Windows version of libpcap and each version of it is based on a certain version of libpcap. The newest version of WinPcap, WinPcap 4.1.3, was developed with libpcap 1.0.0. It means WinPcap doesn't support pcap-ng format yet at allQuote:
Sent him one, wish id saved an earlier one to compare myself haha.
Cool story thanks for all the help. Aren't you the genius who said there was a crypto miner in the last free radar?Quote:
It took me less than 10 minutes to fix the XBox version of PUBG... if you need more than that you have no clue what you are doing lol.
And you can export any .pcapng as .pcap, dummy.
Yo, why are you insulting him for trying to fix the xbox version?, I get it you don't like people using/getting free radars. As far as I can see he's the only one here trying his best to sort it out while you, bragging about fixing it in 10 minutes, dont come here to gloat if you're not gonna help at all.Quote:

Everyone can be mad but he knows what hes talking about. Still im hoping we can get the free version soon, or even if Damncheaters released it that would drive more traffic and cut out the middle man.Quote:
The only reason you guys have a free radar at all is because we told the folks on UC how the encryption works - so don't act like we aren't contributing...
I'm not bragging at all - i'm saying 'i told you so' ... he doesn't have a clue what he is doing, he doesn't even know how export a pcap file from a pcapng file - how you expect someone with that skill-level to even remotely see what's going on in the packets is beyond me.
So here is what happened on xbox - they enabled encryption on xbox as well but the parameters are slightly different than from the PC version ... this information allows you to change a single line in the code - if you know what the fuck you are doing and it doesn't take longer than a minute to add that line of code.
And the only reason i'm dissing him now is because he came into my thread a few weeks ago trying to reduce sales by dragging people to his crappy radar he didn't even write himself.
Are you adding in features from gaydar like the option to change your gear?Quote:

needs to .pcap not .pcapng thats why i am having issues.
Thanks for the contribution (via UC), clearly you are skilled in this area. Although I understand the financial incentive to keep such things private, surely the xbox market is a drop in the PC markets ocean for such a tool... yet information regarding it seems more secretive.Quote:

That's a fair point, id discounted that seeing the pc version does have free radars kicking around and the xbox version seems to be behind by a few weeks.Quote:
It's not just a financial incentive. If you make it available for free without any pay-wall you force PUBG Corp. to act...
The only purpose to make it available for free is
a. to disrupt the game
or
b. to get it fixed
They will just add RSA KeyExchange to it. I'd rather have 50 competitors selling their RADAR.

I was not taking a dig at anyone with the financial aspect either btw, its your time to value as you please.
To be honest, ive probably had more fun goofing around (unsuccessfully) with bits of code from UC and GitHub than I did playing pubg recently. Its just a shame that due to late arrival I wont have seen what this looked like unencrypted or how previous updates were handled.
Thanks for your time.
None at all bud, we all have to start somewhere and learn from someone.Quote:
No shame in trying to contribute my time is how I feel about it. Some of this stuff is over my head. Woopy! I can still try and be of use in learning.
